North Carolina Dance Studio Logo Design
Hampstead Marketing and Design does not just service Hampstead, we are proud to say we have current clients up and down the East Coast, including Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh, Virginia, North Carolina, and even one in France, yep, that’s right, we are international lol.
North Carolina based dance studio, The Collective, reached out to us to take step one towards their opening and brand with a logo design. We were tasked with some unique deign requests for a dance studio. These were:
An all black and white logo (this includes variations of gray)
Bold and Strong
No imagery, focus on typography
Professional and not kitschy
These requests aren’t the norm for us working with a studio, in our experience Dance studio want the opposite of this, color, imagery of dancers, cursive fonts and light movement. So we jumped at the opportunity to help them with this, we are all about a stand out that thinks outside the box.
Our first round featured many logos, more than usual, but that is what happens when we get a cool request, we go a little nuts.
From there the dance studio pulled the logos that they connected with and we enhanced them with small edits and fonts that were preferred. Which led us to round 2:
At this point in our logo journey we decided that the last logo #4 was just right and we needed to move forward. We provided them with a mock up to approve and we were all in agreement that this was The Collective Dance Center’s logo!
We are so excited to see dancers wearing apparel with this logo and the signage on the new studio space.
