HM&D volunteers to create the designed materials for the Hampstead Little Free Pantry each year for their fundraisers. This year many sponsors stepped up to donate and participate in the “not Quite a 5K” race to raise money for feeding our local families in need these upcoming holidays. One sponsor in particular sent their logo to be placed on the back of the shirt and in the designed materials and it was very pixelated and not quite what should be used for anyone who is looking to present themselves as professional.

We reached out to this sponsor and offered to clean it up and create something for them that they could be proud of. This turned into a very fun little logo and some creative wordsmithing, as this photographer was also trying to work in her witting content as well as her photography and had no idea how to tie them together.

We first worked through several rounds of logos and slogans. We settled on “Lens and Pen” which we were actually rooting for, because it rolls off the tongue and really sounds snazzy, in our opinion of course.

Round one appeared like so, with lots of deferent options to mix and match.

Logo 4 was selected and we made updates to it with color and font, to get us here:

The final logo as it appears at the top of this page was reached after this round and we are very happy to say that the client loves it and so do we.
